About the Job:

The project consisted of sidewalk and drainage improvements along S. Chemstrand Road, including connections along side streets, from Nine Mile Road to Johnson Avenue.

New sidewalks were constructed along both the east and west sides of Chemstrand Road, including the installation of three bus stop pads to improve pedestrian accessibility and transit access.

The project also included replacement and expansion of the existing drainage system to adequately convey stormwater from the surrounding drainage basin to the Kaylyn Road County Pond and/or the Johnson Avenue stormwater system, improving overall drainage capacity and performance within the corridor.
