About the Job:

The Roads, Inc. of NWF Design-Build team improved existing conditions along SR 30 (US 98) in Gulf Breeze, Florida, from east of Bayshore Road to west of Portside Drive. The existing four-lane roadway was widened to create a six-lane urban facility.

Project improvements included construction of raised medians, curb and gutter, pedestrian sidewalks, and a shared-use path to enhance safety and accessibility for both motorists and pedestrians.

Additional work included stormwater runoff control and conveyance improvements, including the construction of four stormwater retention ponds and installation of more than 43,000 feet of new stormwater pipe.

These upgrades improved roadway capacity, drainage performance, and overall traffic flow along one of the area’s primary transportation corridors.
